About this project

I researched, wrote and designed both concepts for a job application. They are independent examples, not commissioned work for Sumitomo SHI FW.

A question, then an explanation

The energy-storage carousel starts with a problem: the wind does not blow all the time. The waste-to-energy carousel starts with an object: a discarded plastic bottle. Each gives the reader something familiar before introducing the technology.

Could this waste become energy?

The first slide shows something familiar: discarded plastic bottles. From there, I introduce the scale of municipal waste and then explain gasification.

What if it isn’t windy enough?

Wind power depends on the weather. I used that problem to introduce energy storage, then explain how energy can be stored as liquid air.

Enough about me.
Let’s talk.
